GOOGLE’S CHATGPT COMPETITOR IS COMING…
After months of teasing (not the good kind), Google finally has a working ChatGPT competitor. They’ve named it Bard. Hopefully the AI isn’t as bad as its name.
“Just Google it” → “Just ask Bard”… Doesn’t have the same ring to it.
Their model will pull up-to-date information from the internet and respond to your prompt. ChatGPT was trained on data up until 2021, but Bard can get information in live time.
Google also claims that Bard will be lightweight and fast. Allowing it to be integrated into Google Search and deployed to many users.
Bard might be more powerful + cheaper + faster than ChatGPT. But where tf is it?!
Bard is only available to a subset of users in their “private preview” stage. Google says that Bard might launch publicly in the upcoming weeks.
STABLE DIFFUSION CREATORS LAUNCH GENERATIVE VIDEO AI
The company that helped create Stable Diffusion is working on a new generative video AI. Runway’s Gen-1 AI can take an existing video and apply any style to it. Like transforming people into puppets.
Runway has created AI video editing software for content creators, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Everything Everywhere All at Once.
The website’s home page has a sneak preview of all the crazy shit that you can create using Gen-1. We’ll be watching closely. Very closely. 🍿
